Crossroad Cab

Crossroad Cab

Rides in town, transfers from Memphis, festival shuttles. Invented for this demonstration.

Ninety minutes of Highway 61 separate Memphis International from Clarksdale, and for most visitors that stretch is the whole problem. Crossroad Cab exists to remove it.

Airport transfers, flat-fare rides inside town, and an evening shuttle loop during the Juke Joint Festival that links the downtown stages to Red's, Ground Zero, the Shack Up Inn and the Hopson Commissary. The cab runs as long as the juke joints do.

The name is the obvious one. Robert Johnson is said to have met the devil where two highways cross; the fare is more reasonable.

Fictional business. Crossroad Cab is invented for this demonstration. Every other venue, artist and institution on this be-BOP is real.
